ABOUT THE TEAM

Nicola joined Milne O’Dwyer in 2000 as a trainee after completing a B.Comm in NUI Galway. She completed further studies and is a member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
Nicola is involved in the delivery of audit and accounting service to a range of clients, preparation of Income Tax and Corporation Tax returns and Company office returns.

Joan began working in Milne O’ Dwyer in 2006 as a graduate trainee after completing a BSc in Management at Dublin Institute of Technology. Joan has completed further studies and became a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants (CPA) in 2009.
During her time working at Milne O’ Dwyer she has gained valuable experience in providing Auditing, Accounting, Company Office and Taxation services to a broad range of clients. In addition, Joan has experience in the audit of public interest and private companies across a range of sectors.
Joan also specialises in the preparation of Annual Accounts both corporate and non-corporate, Income and Corporation Tax Returns, Management Accounts and Business Plan preparation.

Pamela began working with Milne O’Dwyer in 2015 having previously worked for a local firm of accountants. Pamela joined the practice after completing a Degree in Business Studies and a Masters in Accountancy at Athlone Institute of Technology.
She also became a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Ireland in 2014 and has over 8 years experience in practice. She has comprehensive experience in Sole-Trader Accounts, Company Accounts, Audited Accounts, Taxation, Company Secretarial Returns, Payroll & PAYE Modernisation.

Enda was awarded a BA in Accounting of Finance from DCU in 2002. He joined the team in Milne O Dwyer in September 2004 after spending time in Canada working with IBM. He was appointed as Senior Accounts Manager after completing his training at Milne O’ Dwyer and qualifying as a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
During his time with Milne O’ Dwyer Enda has gained valuable experience and skills in providing Accounting and Taxation services to a broad range of clients in the Farming, Retail, Corporate and Professional service sectors. He specialises in the preparation of Annual Accounts, both corporate and non-corporate, Income and Corporation Tax Returns, Management Accounts and Business Plan preparation.

Laura joined Milne O’Dwyer in 2007 after graduating from DCU with a BA in Accounting and Finance. Following three years spent in the Tax Departments of two other accountancy firms, dealing with all taxes but with a primary focus on Income Tax and Corporation Tax, Laura re-joined the practice in 2017.
She is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, a Chartered Tax Advisor and holds a Certificate in Irish Domiciled Funds from the Irish Tax Institute. She has dealt with clients in a wide variety of sectors including Hospitality, Retail, Construction and Agriculture. She specialises in accounts preparation for Companies and Sole Traders as well as providing Taxation advice.

Margaret has been with Milne O’Dwyer since 2009 and has successfully completed an IPASS Certificate in Athlone Institute of Technology. Margaret now heads up our Payroll Department and has overseen a whole raft of changes to payroll processing in recent years including PAYE Modernisation.
Margaret has responsibility for leading the Payroll team and delivering tailored Payroll solutions to a broad range of clients. Margaret also advises clients on compliance aspects of their Human Resource Function and assists with NERA Inspections.

Matt Mc Cormack
mattmccormack@milneodwyer.ieMatt has been employed with Milne O’Dwyer as a book-keeper since 1997. He prepares accounts from basic records to trial balance stage for a large number of Sole Traders, Companies and Partnerships. He is also responsible for ensuring that VAT returns are submitted on time.

Samantha Taylor
samanthataylor@milneodwyer.ieSamantha joined Milne O’Dwyer as a Trainee Accountant in September 2017. She is currently studying toward her CPA Professional Exams and was the recipient of two CPA Prizes in 2017.
She assists with the book-keeping, VAT returns, annual accounts and personal tax returns of SMEs and Sole Traders.

Ana-Maria Birsan
anamariabirsan@milneodwyer.ieAna-Maria joined Milne O’Dwyer in 2017 and is currently studying towards her professional examinations.

Colette joined the firm in May of 2017 and graduated with 1st Class Honours from a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) Degree in Accounting from Athlone AIT. She primarily works on reception and also looks after the company’s secretarial needs.
Colette successfully completed her level 6 in Payroll in July 2018 and continues to be educated in relation to PAYE Modernisation. Colette also deals with the company’s internal payroll, book keeping and credit control.

Barry grew up in Tipperary and studied at LIT where he obtained an honours degree in Software Development in Computing. He has managed Milne O’Dwyer’s IT Department since 2006.
Barry previously worked in Austria in the IT Department of DaimlerChrysler. Barry maintains and upgrades our systems and advises both the practice and its client on all IT related issues.
